About Carlene Keegan 

Hi! I’m Carlene. I live on James Island and love it for its laid-back vibe, marsh views, and easy access to both the beach and downtown Charleston. My office is in Mount Pleasant, so during the week I get to enjoy one of the most scenic drives around the Charleston area.

Before getting into real estate, I spent three years teaching in Charleston County. Real estate had always been a quiet passion of mine though. Even when I was younger, I was the kid scrolling through million-dollar homes on Zillow and making my mom come look at them with me (she loved that). Somehow that curiosity turned into a career, and I’m now grateful to be part of The Perrella Group.

Growing up playing sports gave me a naturally competitive spirit, which definitely shows up in how I work for my clients. I’ve had the privilege of helping many people purchase homes here in Charleston, including first-time buyers, relocations, and those simply looking for their next chapter. With rent prices continuing to rise, it’s especially rewarding to help someone turn that monthly payment into a step toward building equity and their future.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside enjoying everything Charleston has to offer, trying a new restaurant with friends or at home with my two dogs who make my house feel like home.
